Stumbling Semester

I did it again.

Yes yes, I did something dumb, again.

Before I tell you about the dumbest thing I did in this semester, perhaps we have a mini recall of the dumb things I did so far in this semester.

  1. For an anticipated lesson at 5pm, I had lunch at arts canteen at 2 pm plus, spent the next 3 hours chatting and savouring the cut fruit. When I turn up for the lesson at 5pm, I realised the actual lesson time starts at 2pm and ENDS at 5pm. I sheepishly went back home.

  2. For an anticipated lecture at 9am, I got up at 7plus, prepared, and was just leaving the house at 8am when I realised the lesson starts at 8am (I need 1 hour to travel to NUS). Since I'm already late, I went back home to sleep.
  3. I went school on a particular tuesday for my only lecture of the day. Upon reaching the lecture hall, I realised the lecture was already cancelled, and prior notice was sent out ages ago...just that i forgot about it.

For a term paper of 2,500 words due at 5pm, I worked throughout the night rushing for it (okok, i fell asleep between 2am to 5am), and got to a draft of 1,500 words at 9am.

At 9am, I had to rush off to meet a client in NUS, to finalise his saving plans to meet a promotion deadline for his discount.

So obviously I was expecting to wrap up everything by noon, and the grand plan was to proceed to AS7 computer labs to continue typing my term papers for submission by 5pm.

By 1130am, with the saving plans firmly wrapped up, a wholesome healthy lunch, I sat down at one PC and prepared for the typing.

I forgot to send the draft documents from my home PC to my email.

In the end, the taxi industry earned an additional 22 bucks today.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The title for my term paper:
Satisfying the dragon's thirst.
Guess what discipline is the paper from?
There is no birthday party this year, a departure from the past few years.....
In fact, at this time of the year, I usually get roughly 5 birthday parties.
All my friends, heck, strangers i don't know, come one fine day to gather in celebration of my birthday.
Each birthday party is usually so huge, only the MPSH in NUS can host them.
And we will be there to sit for 2 hours of silence and swearing praying.
Heh. I love my birthday, right in the midst of exams.
For some reasons or another, semester started really late this year, and this means exams started at a much later date than normal.
Finally a birthday that I can enjoy without any books. :P
I'd sure miss the parties.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Since so many of you are so determined to buy me a decent present, I shall be frank here.

I really really don't want you to waste your money. :)

...really.

Therefore, I shall give a top 5 list of what I need!!!!!

muahahahahahaa

1) A Wallet

Since I'm gonna be rich, i better have a much better wallet to keep all the cards and money.

I'm kidding.

Okok, I'm serious.

But the main reason why I need a new wallet is coz my old one is so battered and spoilt, my ATM cards are broken at the edges coz of my wallet

And all my cards are forever dropping out.

I will like a professional looking one. Black leather.

One with sufficient cards components.

Actually anything Gucci (click here!!) or Prada (or here!) will suffice.

Just don't get me a wallet like this.

2) A very nice professional black bag

Man, i have no professional bag to holds all the documents and contracts and I look like an idiot all properly dressed up, professional attired with tailored clothes.....

.....and a bag that screams "I'M A STUDENT!!"

I don't need a bag to hide my face.

SERIOUSLY.

3) An elegant pen

What better way to seal contracts and long lasting financial relationships!

The pen is - mightier than the sword.

Eh, i meant it figuratively!

4) A financial calculator

Obviously! Whats a financial services consultant got to do without his calculator to calculate present value, future value, discount rate, returns blah blah blah.

Where is the pi?

5) Recommend me more clients!!!

I need the experience and the business....:P

I am going to concentrate wholeheartly in december holidays, so MAKE ME BUSY!

Aye, I'm kidding lah.

As in the top 5 list. I'm not that materialistic (yet).

Beside, I'm soooo used to not-receiving gifts for my bday. Having your bday smacked in the middle of your o'levels/a'levels/exams means that everyone around me will be busy with studies and work.

Heh, even if u get me anything, i will probably find fault with it.

So save the trouble.

An hongbao (with lots of money inside) will do nicely.

Vote for Kerry!

For America's sake, I hope Kerry will win.

I don't need to go on and on about the flaws of Bush's administrations.

Instead, let me dwell on the ironies of his policies.

Some of the major opponents of George Bush is contributing huge amount of the money they saved under Bush's tax cutes, to groups and lobbies against Bush.

Ha ha. Talk abt digging your own grave.

No. 1 Contributor: Peter B. Lewis, Billionaire chairman of Progessive Insurance

From the Washington Post:

Think about it: $14 million in political donations, a likely $20 million tax saving. Lewis could pay for his donations with the money he stands to save from Bush's tax cuts on just this one transaction. It's as if Bush had the Treasury give Lewis the money he's using to try to get rid of Bush. If you don't find this funny, politics has probably destroyed your sense of humor.

No.2 Contributor: George Soros, billionaire investor

Another rich dude benefitting from Bush's tax cuts, George Soros is not only throwing in huge amount of doughs at the anti-Bush campagins, he is throwing his own personal energy and commitment in the elections.

He is promoting his book, putting out ads, going all around swing states giving speeches against Bush.

Soros plans to run a two-page centerfold ad Wednesday in the Wall Street Journal and similar ads in local newspapers throughout the country. He will mail his anti-Bush speech to 2 million homes and offer a free chapter of his book on his website

Funny that Bush is one guy the muslims really hate and George Soros too is someone our favourite fiery leader "senior minister" of Malaysia, Mahattiar condemned and bashed regularly.

Now one supposedly anti-muslim guy (soros) is fighting against the other anti-muslim guy (bush), who the hell is Mahathir supposed to bash?

No.3 contributor(not really contributor, but definitely a supporter): Teresa Heinz Kerry

For those uninformed, she's the wife of Kerry, AND the heir to the Heinz empire.

You dunno the Heinz empire?

Now you know?

She was a big beneficiary of the reductions in tax rates on dividends and capital gains that have been enacted under President Bush. She collected more than $2.2 million in dividends, all of which qualified for the new 15 percent tax rate, saving her $440,000, compared with the 35 percent rate that previously applied to dividends for those with million dollar-plus incomes.

Ha. And Kerry vowed to increase taxes for the rich.

Americans, Kerry has vowed not to increase tax for those earning less than $200,000 annually.

He will repeal the tax cuts for the rich only.

Which is really good news for you, because America can't run with such a huge deficit.

You have a failing medical health plan, a terrorism war to battle, and another country to occupy liberalise.

Oh which, by the way, Bush almost single handly ran up all the bills for it.

Half a trillion dollar of budget deficit.

Thats US$521,000,000,000.

And to think Bush inherited a budget surplus of $230 billion from Clinton.

Please Americans, VOTE for Kerry.

You know what a flawed president Bush is when his own relatives are banding together to vote against him.

www.bushrelativesforkerry.com

Because blood is thinner than oil!

Please Americans, VOTE for Kerry.

I must admit today, I'm a teary emotional sucker.

I may never forgive Neofik who incidentally introduced me to my very first episode of.....

neofik says:oi cb !!!!!!!!!!!

neofik says:
channel 8now !!!!!

neofik says:quick ur favourite !

Cherub says:damn chio

neofik says:i wanan protect her ! i wanna console her !

Cherub says:she got act in meteor garden meh

neofik says:yep

Of course we were talking abt our dearest sweetie pie, miss Yang Cheng Lin.

I only see her for a few minutes in that show, and then I ended up watching the entire episode.

I have always resisted this show, which 3 years ago, during my freshman year, was the most popular download/traded show on campus. My dear teacher-friend auk even has the cartoon VCDs of the original series. (The original meteor garden is an anime)

3 years I have resisted it.

And I lost today. I happened to watch one of the most heartbreaking episode. Shancai already found herself in love with Daoming Si, and today she had to forcefully break up coz of the evil Empress Dowager (Daoming Si's mother). [Details not revealed, go watch it!]

In order to make Daoming Si give up, she simply told him that she doesn't love him.

The tears that flowed from her eyes.

I'm a sucker for this type of stuff. Romances, love, all things emotional. Heck my friend wept when Boo, the girl of Monster Inc has to separate from the Monsters.

I know I know, I'm a guy and I'm supposed to be headstrong and embrace guns-wielding action heros.

But I'm a weakling, and I admit it.

I cried teared during "City of Angels".

I teared during "My Sassy Girl".

I teared during today's episode of "Meteor Garden"

I am a weakling. (what do you think?)

Now that I'm engaged in this very personalised service industry, I'm really getting annoyed at cancelled appointments and delays.

In business, there is nothing much I can do, after all, its really part of my job and I suppose one of the best way to distinguish myself from the crowd is that I must be able to accomodate my clients' needs all the way.

May the best professional service wins.

My grudges however have moved to my own personal life. Kinda getting irritated at project meetings/dinners/get-togethers cancelled at almost the last minute.

The best part is when u had to postpone other meetings, turn down business appointments, push back your own studies for a pre-arranged dinner and it just didn't happen.

Now you know why I got sick or stopped arranging army get-togethers, E3 dinners, or secondary/JC suppers (a grand total of 4 folks for sec, and 3 for JC).

Thats why I really had to hand it to Captain (so appropriately nicked), who really did darn well in arranging our past karaoke, BBQs.

To Captain and similar like-minded people who still cherish friendships and bonds forged at different times in our life, here's a big ..........

THANK YOU.

Mouse and Pussies.

I don't know what I want in life.

And this brings a conversation with Neofik the other day

Cherub says:

then wat exactly is ur passion?

Cherub says:

surely there must be something concrete

neofik says:

i dun know...

neofik says:

that's why i realy envy those pple who know what they wanna do

neofik says:

even if it's selling bread or whatever. at least they know what they want

I don't know what I want. Sigh. Paris Hilton, Yan Cheng Lin or Jia Jingwen?.

From the speaker at the World Bank Forum, which I attended recently.

Half the languages of the world are spoken in Papua New Guinea (PNG)

Thats 800 of them, languages, NOT dialects.

(From this website (which shows all the languages of PNG), its 832 languages, out of which 823 are living languages, and 9 are extinct)

Its has the only capital that he knows of, that has no roads connecting out of it.

You see tiny Australia below it? Man, PNG is a huge country, and with only 5.4million people, density per square metre is only a low 30.

Real estate ought to be cheap there. :)

The new Straits Time Interactive is here.

And its annoying like hell.

The need to register before accessing any news is sooooo anti-users, anti-internet.

Its not only a hassle to register, but a hassle to login whenever u wanna access some news.

Yes yes, I know its free to register.

I know you want to get to know your viewers better so u can adjust ur advertisments reading content more appropriately.

I know you have your privacy policy and whatever ethical stuff done properly.

Yes, keep the price a constant while revamp the layouts of Strait Times (hardcopy). Thanks

Revamp the website, make it more user-friendly. Thanks.

Increase the content, the news worthy of your articles. Thanks.

But to register to access ur online portal?

IRRITATING LIKE HELL. (no wonder we're back at media monopoly)

[to avoid this registeration process, bugmenot, anyone?]

Mickey mouse, one of the most favourite character.

Wait....do you realise that, he's a.....

....rodent?

This is the mouse that makes girls scream and run. And 小叮噹 (Xiao Ding Dang), our fearsome robatic cat will probably run away like hell.

And of course Garfield will probably chat and dine with the mouse.

Okok, thats not the point. My point is, Walt Disney is really making lots of money successful with Mickey Mouse.

Think about this, one of the most hated enemies during the era of SARS.....

the irritating, dirty little fellow....

the rodents that produces shrill screams from ladies everwhere....

and he is made into one of the most popular known character of our era.

Think about this...When is the last time you watched a Mickey Mouse cartoon?

I don't know about you, but i can't remember the last time I watched a cartoon that mickey mouse appears.

In fact, most of the kids nowadays probably never seen a mickey mouse animated show.

Beautiful right? Hello Kitty too, is a marketing babe. No cartoon, no film, no comics.

BTW, they are back at McDonalds Singapore.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And speaking of pussy cats.......I'm reminded of the fearsome cat that entertained me when I was a teenager.
in fact, the only chinese comics I ever read......
小叮噹!!!
Heh. Our favourite cat of all times.
Its like, the perfect pet lor. It has everything inside its pockets, u can be invisible, fly around, do magic.
In fact, I think 大雄 (Da Xiong) is really a dumb ass. With a cat like that, how the hell u can fail to get the girl?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And then, we have Garfield, the cat that is just too lazy and fat to chase a mouse.

Sometimes, they have fun together

Oh well. He's my favourite lump of orange.

Thanks and eye candies for u pple

doing horrible econometrics for this semester, i have seeked help from countless of people...

and i realise, from feedbacks, the only way i effectively contributed, is NOT, erm, my 'strong' foundation in maths/stats, but my blog which helps them to relieve stress....

and since a lot of you people love pictures...

here is for u, all my loves.

oops, i forgot to mention that most of the pple that helped me out really a lot are..... females.

Wat abt the guys?...

YES DANNY U WERE OF NO HELP! AND THE TUTORIAL IS PAIRWORK! Grrrr......

oh well..for all our friendship.....this is for u. :)

You're gay, ain't you? :p

heh heh.

~~~~~~~
Don't you hate them from young?
"Open up."
"Don't worry, it won't hurt....too much."
"don't worry i'll be gentle"
YES...I'm talking about...
....dentists.
When was the last time u seen ur dentist? Do you remember the time when we were in primary school, where each primary school has its own dental clinic manned by a few fierce-looking meanie who tend to hide their evil grins behind those white masks of death?
wow...times have changed!
i have been visiting my dentist a lot recently, thanks to my dental insurance, heh heh. took out all of my wisdom tooth, and went for normal routine checkups as well, oh man, standards have improved!!!
now instead of asking u to spit out all those water the drill will splurts out to prevent friction on ur teeth, they attach a tube at the side to suck out the excessive water.
and now and then, the nurse will come with a huge tube to suck out all excessive water that the small tube is unable to reach.
erm... something like that...
in fact the drill is not as massively painful as it used to be. eh, but thats probably coz I'm not a whiny kid anymore
yes yes, some of u are rolling your eyes.
Fine. i'm still whiny, but not a kid, alright!
Since i have been dealing with so much dental insurance nowadays, i have been getting feedbacks regarding dental clinics in singapore...and here are the few top ones. :P
In a clinic at Orchard Road, there is a television screen at the ceiling. so while u get ur teeth cleaned, u get to focus on more important thing, like "Friends" or something...
In another clinic, there is a free apple for every visit. And there is, gosh, eat your heart out, FREE internet at the clinic!!
erm, apples that u eat, not free apple computer.....
I LOVE FREE INTERNET ACCESS THOUGH. :)
Oh well, i'm sticking to my dentist...and his nurse. :)
Haha. I wish!
Procrastination.
The reason why this entry took so loooong to appear is because I've been procrastinating a lot these few days.
Putting off important things till the very last minute.
Procrastination is such an unhealthy habit, i read; it increases ur stress level, ur blood pressure, etc.
I have decided that I shall write an article regarding procrastination and its negative health effects on students like me.
I will do it tomorrow.
Classic insurance story #2
After going through the basic health and accident insurance plans for a client, i realise 2 things after filing her applications and making a few phone calls.
  1. The personal accident plan that she declined, she didn't know she has that plan enforced before.
  2. The health insurance that she has the most interests in, she didn't know she already bought that and is currently under its protection.
Since we are on the topic of vegetables...let's talk about the top 3 most unpopular vegetables in Singapore...
1) Brinjal. n : hairy upright herb native to southeastern Asia but widely cultivated for its large glossy edible fruit commonly used as a vegetable [syn: eggplant, aubergine, eggplant bush, garden egg, mad apple, Solanum melongena]
Why purple? there are like, tons of colours and it has to be purple?
don't be fooled by its cuteness.
this is how it looks after cooked. disgusting right!!
I knew there are slimy rats inside!
Of course Xiaxue will definitely hit me with a big fat BJ (thats brinjal) when she reads this entry. This is her favourite vegetable and she once wrote about how unfair she is discriminated against, just because she likes BJ. I mean the vegetable.
Hey, there is a good reason why we discriminate against people who loves BJ you know? You don't see us looking at cabbage eaters, do you?
Don't look at me. i tried to be unbiased and sampled BJ (THE VEGETABLE!!) before. (honestly, I ordered it by mistake). Gross. Soft and mashy.....yucks
I hate BJs.
2) Lady's finger: A tall tropical Asian annual plant (Abelmoschus esculentus) widely cultivated in warm regions for its edible, mucilaginous green pods.
With such a name like that, you can understand why its so unpopular.
In fact, I wish i have a penny for every corny joke i heard about it.....all those lame jokes about eating her finger, my finger, blah blah.
Here is the surprising part. Its actually quite alright!
When I was in the States for exchange, this American introduced me to Okra, a round brown fried ball. So after trying it, it tastes rather nice and I'm rather hooked to it.
It was days later that I realised they call the "lady's finger" OKRA.
Its not the brown ball that is named okra, its the vegetable inside that is called okra.
They cut the lady's finger into pieces and stuff it into balls of flour deep fry it as a snack.
My conclusion: Deep frying makes any edible food nice.
In any case, the Americans I met were super amused that we call okra, "lady's fingers"
(lame jokes again....)
3) bitter gourd.
BITTER.
enough said.
so far, i don't know many youths that eat this. Only the old people. Look like what they said is true ==> "年轻人吃不了苦" (Young people can't take bitterness)
The annual E3 BBQ will be activated in a moment....
Every year, there will be something amazing.
Last year, Rebirth gave us strict instructions on what to buy and prepare for marinating the meat.
- MINCED GARLIC.
Two-Face took a bottle of minced ginger.
The shopping guys (tats Two-Face, Fire & Me) left the marinating to the others, and we told them to mix the garlic with the meat.
Of course there is no minced garlic. We took a wrong bottle of ginger, remember?
Viagra mixed the meat with the GARLIC SPREAD (meant for the bread)
In the end, we called Momo and his girl to buy garlic.
They turned up with 2 bundles of garlic. As in, the raw unprocessed garlic.
Welcome to E3.
Only in E3 you'll get a grand total of 10 hotdogs for a BBQ party of 11.
two-face: 1 packet enough hor.
Fire & me: *nods nods*
Fine line between kindness and stupidity
I just gave $80 to a total stranger.
A middle age man came running to me with a 5yo kid, asking me whether I've seen this Malay running off with a red bag.
Explained that he misplaced his bag while making a public phone call (his cell phone was flat)
and saw this guy running off with it.
Police didn't manage to help out much, refusing to send him back to his mother's place. (police car is only for criminals and such, nice) He is damn worried coz his IC and house keys are inside the bag (key opens home tat is listed in address).
Not a single cent, don't have anything in his possession. The police only offered a few ten-cents coins, which he angrily rejected.
I gave him $30 so that he can take cab home.
(he said he will return the money to me, and took my name card)
WAIT cherub, I tot u said $80??
In the end, before he left, I was concerned that $30 is not enough to take cab, buy food for her daughter, and a new lock for his home.
We went to an ATM and I gave him $50 more.
SIGH, I have this feeling I am sooooo not going to get the money back.
Meet Cherub, the most naive financial advisor ever.
On why the government sucks as an insurer and good at marketing.
"$10 cap on Medishield premium hike",
screams the Straits Times.
Now now, given that Medishield premiums is payable annually, so we expect only a slight increase of $10 per year?
MARKETING, my dear friends.
"THE new MediShield insurance scheme being worked out holds one promise: the extra people will fork out for the higher premiums will be less than S$10 a month." Source: The Straits Times 3 Oct'2004
Haha. $10 cap per month, when we talking about a premium that is payable yearly.
That means a possible hike of $120.
Now you feel the pinch.
In Medishield, premiums collected is more than payouts.
"The correct way to judge if premiums are excessive is to study the loss ratio of an insurance plan. This is the ratio of annual payouts to premium collections. For long-term viability, it cannot exceed 100 per cent. In other words, payouts must not exceed premium collections."
In the words of Karen, deputy director of corporate communications for permanent secretary (Ministry of Health)
I guess that all along, the private insurers' standard practice of premiums collected LESS than payouts is not long-term viable huh.
Geez, and I've always thought that they are able to collect less premiums compared to payouts because they collect a net return on the investment with the premium.
And of course market forces work to force insurance companies to seek the highest returns on these returns, be accountable about it, so as to provide lower premiums against competitors.
How silly of me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Speaking of returns, Singapore's foreign reserves returns (and possibly returns from Medishield's premiums) are all undisclosed.

Hey! why do you care about the money! Its the government's job to maximise the money. I am sure they will be doing a good job.

Who cares if they do not factor in returns from premiums in the pool of money for Medishield?

They don't have to disclose returns on foreign reserves either because MAS's policy is

'not to disclose the annual rate of return on the reserves so as to avoid undue emphasis on year-to-year variations in returns that would detract from MAS' core objectives'.

I know its my money, but oh well, they are like, you know, our fund managers of our wealth. wait, fund managers are supposed to disclose the fund performances. Hmm, and we can punish the fund managers if the performance is lacklustre.

Ohhh, I am so sure the ministers will monitor our foreign reserves.

that's why they are paid million dollars salary for, right?

On the 3 hrs "Money And Banking" midterm test I wrote in the previous entry

Apparently for a 15marks question, one clown has no idea how to do.

So he did the next best thing.

He wrote down a joke.

The lecturer gave him 1/2 mark for his efforts.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Can't believe that god is so 'kind' to let me face the situation of adverse selection in my very first health-insurance case.
As mentioned in an earlier entry, adverse selection (aka anti-selection) is prevalent in insurance line. Only people who knows they are sick and needs insurance the most, will approach to buy insurance. Hence, if adverse selection is not prevented, the insurance will collapse, coz only pple with higher chance of getting sick will buy, and the payouts will be very high.
==> Premiums will be high, and normal healthy people will not buy.
Upon explaining and signing the application forms for my first health-insurance client, i realise that this is a classic textbook example of adverse selection.
She was already sick and just realised the importance of insurance.
Now its slightly too late. :(
And she's very young! that was the key surprising factor. Sigh, i guess the probability is all the same for a lot of aliments. And its really sad that most people will only realise the importance of protection and insurance only when something unfortunate has occured. By then it will be too late, the financial burden will be unavoidable.
Now her entire family and she herself start learning about insurance and how to maximise their protection without paying more cash, coz everyone is worried now.
Life has a cruel way of making us learn.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My last entry has stirred a few, ahem, men's interest. Apparently one friend of mine signed up for her offical website.

Apparently, she's 30yo this year.

30yo!!!!!!!! CAN U BELIEVE IT?

She's look ravishingly 19!!!

And ©îÑ told me that she's attached. Damn.

Oh well, back to the first one.

Apparently, she has not dated before!!!

And she is scared of mouse.

Luckily, I'm not scared of mouse.

On NYDC banning broccoli, i get a few arguments regarding this.

Friday was perplexed why NYDC banned such a nice, errr, vegetable.

I realise that broccoli is not only considered "boring".....

Apparently Broccoli is evil too.

We can always buy a "broccoli is evil" shirt.

And if you got decent internet speed, download this film that will show u why broccoli is evil.

Disclaimer: This is quite a cute film, but if you get nightmares, I seriously don't care. :P

From the Evil Vegetables website (i told u that they are evil!!).......

We start with Broccoli, the greenest of the Evil Vegetables. Broccoli adopts this colour scheme as a form of camoflage, hoping that it will pass unnoticed amongst the friendly lettuces until - too late! - we've eaten it and it has ensnared us in its evil clutches.

George Bush Snr famously banned broccoli from the White House. Well done, George! Never mind that you were a complete burk and that you managed to create an even bigger burk to take over your country after you were booted out. You saw through Broccoli's whiles and for that we salute you!

Sigh, okay okay, I shall not be mean here. Broccoli is really seriously misunderstood. They're not evil! They're merely psychotic.

You can see the full range of pictures here, which is named,

FORBIDDEN TEMPLE OF THE MAJESTIC MANIFESTATION OF BROCCOLI!"

And so we poll the pollsters....

Had a midterm paper of 3hours recently.

All the arts paper are of 2 hours duration in the FINALS.

Enough said.

Sophia wondered why I made her the bulk of my jokes in my blog when in real life, Joyce was the main receiver of my practical jokes and, ahem, verbal teasings. *wide grin*

This is the girl that brought cookies to economic classes to munch on, one for herself, one for me. And always so eager to cook waffles in the caferteria.

[Let me digress: The university cafeteria in my host university in USA is a large buffet per entry. Think Marche. Except its not payment per dish, but payment per entry. SHIOK AH. but not when u eat western food, and pseudo asian food for 4mths. yucks.]

This is the same girl that washes her own clothes everyday coz she can't stand collecting a sizable amount of dirty clothes for the machines to handle.

10secs after we discussed abt something in the menu, she will look up and ask the exact same thing that we just discussed.

And of course, she didn't know that the cartilage of stingrays can be eaten coz her mum never told her. heh.

And drove into the wrong, incoming traffic road. Hehz. Luckily I was in the car behind her.

And she keeps an OFFLINE BLOG!!! [note: upon reflection, i think they call that a diary. in fact, diary was invented first. ah, the things people do without computers. tsk.]

And she shares the same birthday as me!

I do not know whether to rejoice in joy. Or to whine.....

CHIO RIGHT?

now now, if we substitute that wuss face, and replace it with mine...

heavenly match.

I love spoilt little rich brats.

In numerous discussions with many friends, I realise I still love spoilt little rich princess.

Popular Poll of the Month

If you're are Zhang Wuji (that wuss face in the TV poster above), which of the following girls will u choose as a wife?

1) 高圆圆 饰 周芷若 -Evil Doer, Chief of the nun sect, Er-mei sect. (psss...NUN leh! tsk. tsk.)

外表美丽温柔、冰雪聪明,但内里报仇心强、蕴藏阴沉狠辣一面

2) 陈秀丽 小昭 - The sweet and innocent, loyal and self-sacrificing

小昭是个谜一样的女子,温柔体贴,可爱可亲,这是一个人见人爱的完美形象。愿意为了无忌的幸福而牺牲自己。

If the link fails, you can see her pic here

3) 陈莎莎 蛛儿The childhood friend. The one that has been with you forever.

无忌的表妹,性情古怪,为人偏激,任性专横,倔强痴性。是个敢爱敢恨且追求完美的人。放她于现时,必是一个个性鲜明活得很自我的性格人物,很适合做现代的新新人类。.

OR.....

4) 贾静雯 赵敏 The little mongolian princess!

蒙古郡主,有蒙古女子率性爽朗性格、聪明绝顶、刁钻古怪,机智狠辣,敢爱敢恨,用情极深

My choice is clear.

Talk about weird tastes.

A little blue Pill likes Evil girls.

Another Yamato likes docile girls.

These guys don't know how to look for nice girls......

I love my spoilt little princess.

Talk about Mongolians, do you know they created the largest empire in the world.

Yes.

Not you Hitler. Not even you, Alexander the Great.

Its an Asian, and a mongolian too.

See? They covered large portions of Asia, having even reached Europe.

They conducted the ONLY successful winter invasion in Russia. And Western Europe was saved only because Batu Khan had to stop his attacks as an important leader had died in Mongolia, and he had to return and consolidate powers.

Blah.

One of the reasons for the mighty reach of the Mongol Empire is the mongolian horsemen. Fed with a rich nourishing diet of goat milk from young, the horsemen were trained to control their horses with their feet only, freeing both of their hands for manoeuvring their attacks. The Hordes were highly mobile, swift, and of course, fearless.

They carried 3 waves of attacks across Straits of Japan, but their invading vessels were stopped 3 times by storms. The Japanese credited it to the power of their God, but I'd say they were damn lucky lah.

Anyway, the Mongolians got pissed enough and turned westward instead.

Guess not much water in between huh.

And not to mention a beautiful princess to boot.

Yes sigh. this entry is posted at 3:19am.

Had to rewrite the last few parts 3 times, due to human errors and firefox rebooting. (hey! better than Internet Explorer!)

Sigh. The blogs I do.

First we were only a little red dot. (mentioned by ex-President of Indonesia, Habibie, dismissing Singapore as a mere red dot on the world map)

Now we are a dried piece of mucus, as well. And not to mentioned, testicles-holding piece of mucus. Maybe you ought to read it here. I try to keep my site family-safe, you know.

Geez, don't you love Taiwan politicians.

You see them slapping, scolding each other in their parliament. And sometimes, a chair or two gets thrown across the place.

And their language. Whooo....

Now they really internationalise the hokkien swear words.

Extracted from mrbrown.com's article on this,

Mr brown created his own unofficial response. I wish we got more people like him in politics.

"N*bei, this kind of ch**bye l*ncheow thing also can say. Want to make we all t*lan issit?"
